This Highland Park staple features Latin and American food. Every Spring I get excited to go here when I know they have removed the plastic covers on the patio. There’s nothing like hanging in this cool neighborhood, having margs and guac while enjoying times with your friends and all of your furry friends.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!! It was named one of the “Top 100 Bars in the South” by Southern Living and one of the “10 Bars Worth Flying to” according to GQ. They have the best sandwiches and a super cool atmosphere. One thing to remember before you get here is that they are CASH ONLY, but they do have an ATM inside.

Moe’s Original Bar & BBQ

Love this spot for a casual afternoon on the patio. Somedays you may get lucky and get to hear some great live music too! They do allow dogs. If you’re looking for a great meal try their Wing’s or BBQ Nachos. They both will NOT disappoint! Their bushwhackers are some of the best in town.

If you are looking for something a little fancier, but still want to enjoy the great outdoors—this is where you need to go! Frank and Pardis Stitt are Birmingham restaurant legends!! You will love their fine Italian cuisine while sipping on their amazing cocktails on their beautiful patio. Their pizzas are all amazing and the specials NEVER disappoint! PLUS you must try their coconut pecan cake.

As a Crestwood resident I frequent this one often! They have a casual vibe and are EXTREMELY dog friendly! Every Thursday night is Paws on the Patio. Bring your dog, and you get a free appetizer! The toasted ravioli are amazing, so go on a Thursday, grab your pup and get you some! Try the Buffalo Shrimp Pizza, it is one I had never heard of until this great spot and it is a crowd pleaser.
